About Us

Sea shipping Colombo (SSC) was established in year 1998. The office is located in the heart of the city of Colombo close to the Colombo port and many other important places.

SSC is formed with the sole objective of specializing in International Freight Forwarding activities. SSC is engaged in diverse shipping related activities in Sri Lanka providing warehousing, special import and export projects, cargo handling and inland haulage.

SSC enjoys reputation with both local and overseas customers for delivering quality freight forwarding services. SSC has added Airfreight handling to its diverse portfolio and within a short period of time has secured many leading customers, working exclusively with the Company.

We have taken the opportunity to re-evaluate our entire operation in the light of the changing global economic situation and that we have positioned as customer driven organization with superior services and a professional approach to the transport business, which is unequaled in the country. Our current plans extend out to the next five years and we have an ambitious expansion program, which may encompass other areas within the Asian region.

Clearly, we are in a competitive industry but SSC is fully committed as an International Freight Forwarding Company offering specialized OCEAN/ AIR freight services. We remain a customer driven organization but our role extends to that of advisors and business partners to our customers and we are committed to developing long terms relationship built on trust and mutual respect.
